What does being an APMP Fellow mean to you?
Being in the elite group of advisors responsible for shaping the Winning Business ecosystem.
What's your best memory from attending an APMP event?
I always wanted a BPC event to be organized within the Asian sub-continent. Having the first flagship BPC Asia event in my hometown in Mumbai in 2022 is my best memory.
What advice do you have for a proposal professional entering our field?
I believe the proposal professional to be analogous to the Orchestrator of a symphony. In an orchestra, every musician is an expert. However, none can play a symphony unless led by an orchestrator. Similarly, sales, operations, and other organizational resources cannot complete a winning proposal unless led by a proposal professional. I want every proposal professional to believe this.
Anything else you want to add?
I have had a great journey with APMP since 2019. I started as an APMP India governing board member in 2019 and have been able to serve as the Chair and Past Chair of APMP India, where we saw tremendous growth and engagement, which led us to win the Stephen P Shipley Chapter of the Year Award. I have now got the honor and privilege of serving as a governing board member of the APMP HQ.
